Description
Support the strategic direction of the organization and the division. Consistently demonstrate Cashman Equipment’s Core Values (Communication, Accountable, Safe, Honest, Mentors, Adaptable and Now – Right Now). Promote and enhance customer satisfaction while maintaining profitability and market dominance, with emphasis on sales and support of mining technology products and services offered by Caterpillar, including the CAT MineStar suite, and Cat Fatigue Risk Management Solutions and mining technology products and services offered through Cashman Equipment such as Rajant radio networks.

Requirements
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
•Responsible for the management and support of: ?MineStar accounts at designated mine sites.
?Office software technical support at designated mine sites.
?Upgrade project management when required at designated mine sites.
?Field release budget and utilization at designated mine sites.

•Provide training, report enhancements and consultant services to users at designated mine sites to improve mobile fleet utilization, productivity, efficiency and/or value from Technology Enabled Systems including: ?Production efficiency consulting.
?Delay Utilization consulting.

•Analyze and interpret VIMS, fault code and MineStar data and provide production and efficiency improvement reports and recommendations to designated mine sites. Interpretation and recommendations are based on discretion and independent judgment. Recommendations, if implemented, could substantially effect mine site production, operation and maintenance operations.
•Identify opportunities at designate mine sites where users can improve utilization, productivity, efficiency and/or value from Technology Enabled Systems such as operator and support training, maintenance programs, upgrades and report enhancements, utilization and understanding. Prioritize opportunities and present and implement recommendations to appropriate mine sites.
•Report major issues to the Cat Technology group and follow through containment and permanent corrective action.
•Install, calibrate and troubleshoot on-board system hardware and software, including registration and commissioning of Technology Enabled systems.
•Provide customer support as outlined in any Technology Support Agreements assigned.
•Train new users and office support personnel when and as required.
•Write and modify Technology user reports as required.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations. Use all safety equipment as necessary. Report any unsafe acts or conditions.
•Support others in the Equipment Solutions group who may need assistance from time to time.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
•Technical experience with electrical and computer systems troubleshooting, as well as mechanical systems.
•Ability to interact effectively in multi-disciplined, multi-cultural team environment including working with customer mining engineers, and personnel in planning, operations, maintenance and human resources and company parts, service, sales and support personnel.
•Knowledge of common computer software applications, including some experience with software commonly used at mine sites.
•Provide accurate, timely and complete product resolution as it may relate to servicing, or maintaining the technology product.
•Effectively participates as part of team, assisting where appropriate and requesting assistance when needed.
•Achieves customer focus by delivering high quality, cost effective service.
•Adheres to company policies, procedures and practices.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
•Four year College degree in a technology or engineering field such as Technology, Mining, Engineering, or Computer Science.
•Minimum of five (5) year’s experience or equivalent formal education in mining curriculum.
•Ability to read and understand materials commonly used in the job function.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills.
•Courses in intermediate or advanced electrical/instrumentation and technical writing/presentations.

•Occasionally/frequently lift 50 lbs.
•Must use hands for repetitive simple grasping, pushing, pulling and fine manipulation.
•Must be able to bend, squat and climb, including the ability to ascend and descend ladders.
•Must use feet for repetitive movement when operating equipment controls.
•Must have agility and balance to safely climb on all machines.

•Frequent exposure to shop/warehouse/outside environment.
•Frequent exposure to heavy equipment including climbing on machines, installing hardware, troubleshooting on-board hardware and software issues.
•Field environment with exposure to adverse weather conditions including heat, cold, wind, rain, dust, dirt and noise.
•Valid Nevada Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
•Frequent travel and overnight stays.
