3 Frequently Asked Questions:
How long will it take for jobs to be seen on searches?
A: If there is a tag already created for that category and location, new jobs will be seen on searches as soon as they're on the site. If it is a new tag, generally it takes about a week to be scraped and visible on search engines. The hashtags used on the site create URL's that become visible on searches. Hashtags are generally created for job category and location - state/county/city/town. There is an element of creativity with hashtags, and we experiment with a variety of keywords used in the tags in order to achieve optimal results.
Most searches, particularly on Google are geo-location based, so all one would need to do is search for a job category within their location and the job category will appear. See example of hashtags below.
Are there methods to help our jobs get more visibility?
A: Yes. Any content related to jobs (company activities, etc.) that we can post in our blog section, will have a beneficial effect on how jobs rank on searches. Another recommendation we would make is to engage with social media content for jobs - as there is a correlation between social media activity and job visibility on searches. But again, content is the most beneficial. One other important aspect to optimal visibility on searches is keeping active jobs updated as far as date posted, in which we manually refresh jobs so they do not have a posting date older than 3-4 weeks, as search results favor new content/jobs.
If we have a priority position, will you give us extra assistance?
A: Yes, there are several methods we could use in assisting a company with a priority position - we'll offer up to 10 positions for extra assistance over the course of a year. See example of a priority position listed above in the Google Jobs box.
We will also proactively engage with qualified individuals either through our database or social media in order to give your priority positions enhanced visibility - examples below.
