Compensation: $170,000 - $195,000 Annually DOE


Responsibilities:

The Vice President of Sales will be a critical leader in driving SONSRAY's continued growth and success. This role involves leading and managing a high-performing sales team, setting strategic sales targets, and ensuring the integration of new teams as SONSRAY continues to expand. You will oversee the performance of sales staff, manage Sales Coordinators, and provide training and development to ensure all teams align with SONSRAY's high standards and policies. This position requires a proven sales leader with strong experience in outside sales and a track record of success in driving sales growth across multiple states.


  •    Lead, mentor, and develop a growing team of outside sales professionals across multiple regions. Create a culture of accountability and excellence, ensuring all sales personnel are trained and developed according to SONSRAY policies and standards.


  •    As SONSRAY grows through acquisitions, the Sales Director will be responsible for integrating new teams into the organization. This includes training them on SONSRAY’s policies, procedures, and sales methodologies to maintain consistent performance across the company.


  •    Set individual sales targets for each salesperson, track sales performance, and ensure team members meet or exceed their goals.


  • Develop actionable plans to address under performance and reward high achievers.


  •    Oversee the performance and expectations of the Sales Coordinators, ensuring they provide effective support to the sales team and contribute to achieving overall sales goals.

   

  • Work closely with dealership operations to align sales strategies with operational capabilities, ensuring an efficient and seamless customer experience,


  •    Utilize EDA tools to analyze sales data, monitor performance trends, and adjust strategies as needed to optimize results.

  

  •  Provide regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to executive leadership.

  

  •  Participate in educational opportunities, read professional publications, and engage with professional networks and organizations to stay current with industry trends and best practices. Continuously seek ways to improve personal and team performance.

   

  • Ability to travel as needed to visit regional locations, attend industry events, and meet with key clients and team members.


  • Qualifications:


  •    Minimum of 5+ years of experience in outside sales, with a preference for dealership or industrial equipment sales.

 

  • Proven leadership experience managing multi-location teams, including a history of setting and achieving sales goals.

  

  • Strong ability to mentor, train, and develop sales professionals, particularly during times of growth and acquisition.

   

  • Experience in managing Sales Coordinators, setting clear expectations, and monitoring performance.

   

  • Proficiency in EDA tools and sales reporting systems

  

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

   

  • A hands-on leader who can inspire and drive teams to achieve excellence.

   

  • Ability to travel as needed to support the sales team and meet with clients.

   

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field preferred but not required.
