Louisiana Cat is seeking an Employment Coordinator to join the human resources team. This is a terrific opportunity to work for a growing, dynamic company at our corporate headquarters in Reserve, LA. Reporting to the HR Manager, the Employment Coordinator will liaison with hiring managers and candidates to source the best talent to join Louisiana Cat. Primary Responsibilities

Reviewing candidate qualifications and providing recommendations to the hiring managers
Administering pre-employment testing
Running background checks
Working with hiring managers to understand their business requirements and writing job descriptions for external postings
Developing sourcing strategies for assigned positions
Representing Louisiana Cat at job fairs and other career events
Running reports in ApplicantPro (applicant tracking system)
Other special projects as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, human resources or related field
2 years' related experience preferred
Demonstrated proficiency with PC's, including Excel and Word
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
Ability to handle multiple tasks in an effective, timely and professional manner
Some overnight travel required (5%)
