Position Summary: Responsible for organizing machines and attachments in a manner that maximizes yard space and operational efficiencies. Oversees incoming and outgoing inventory. Drives inventory accuracy and reduces losses by establishing processes and monthly physical inventories. Responsible for directing yard personnel.
Receives all inventory into DBS upon delivery to HMC. Updates the location and hours in DBS.
Acts as gatekeeper and responsible party for all outbound shipments and associated documentation. Ensures all s/n's and ID's match corresponding paperwork.
Prepares a daily report that identifies all of the "ins and outs" that take place at HMC. Distributes the report daily to Sales Management.
Maintains and organizes the yard at HMC. Identifies the appropriate locations for all machines and attachments to be stored in an orderly fashion.
Coordinates with the yard workers to ensure that all machines and attachments labeled with ID numbers and are reflected in DBS.
Prepares a monthly inventory report that outlines all new and used equipment on the property at HMC. Distributes that report to Sales Management.
Verifies all required documentation is complete on all delivery and pick-ups.
Checks for damage on all incoming machines both customer and inventory, reports and documents findings, including photos, to supervisor.
Makes sure all yard personnel attend weekly safety tailgate meetings conducted by Building B Service manager. Wears proper PPE and follows all established safety practices and guidelines.
Provides assistance loading and unloading equipment as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Management.
Education, Experience, and Skills Required:
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; or one to three years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Bachelor's degree in Business preferred.
Must have good communication skills and proper business etiquette.
Ability to multitask and establish priorities.
Maintains a high degree of accuracy.
Must have a good working knowledge of DBS and IRental business systems.
Must have a valid Class "C" California Driver's License with a good driving record.
Forklift operator certification.
Testing Requirements: Applicants may be required to pass a written and/or oral examination before being considered for employment in this position.
