THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for a Hose Technician for our Lake Charles location.
The person in this role will be responsible for identifying, diagnosing, and repairing or building new Caterpillar and Non-Caterpillar hose assemblies.
YOUR CONTRIBUTION
- Apply troubleshooting techniques and determine proper repair procedures for failed hose assemblies.
- Work closely with Parts Department counter and warehouse personnel to ensure customer needs are satisfied in a timely and reliable manner.
- Develop and maintain increased confidence and customer loyalty through correctly built hydraulic hose assemblies for both CAT and non-CAT equipment.
- Consult with Louisiana CAT Teams and customers about hydraulic hose installation recommended practices.
- Prepare and communicate proactive Hydraulic System Repair Options strategies for customers through your knowledge of hydraulic systems.
- Work cross-functionally and collaborate with Parts & Service Department and Equipment Management divisions to provide timely hose assembly support for all equipment needs.

MOST IMPORTANT QUALIFICATIONS
- REQUIRED: High School Diploma, or equivalent
- REQUIRED: Knowledge or prior experience in Hydraulic Hose Assembly Industry
- REQUIRED: Prior experience in a warehouse environment
- REQUIRED: Strong mechanical and technical skills
- REQUIRED: Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- REQUIRED: Ability to work in a team environment
