We are looking for a dedicated Product Support Sales Representative to drive sales opportunities for parts, labor, and equipment while helping our customers enhance operational efficiency.
Job Summary:
In this role, you will collaborate with customers to identify sales opportunities, improve their operations, and maintain effective communication with our Construction Division to ensure optimal equipment performance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Customer Liaison: Serve as the primary contact for customers, facilitating communication between them and the Parts and Service Departments.
- Sales Promotion: Boost customer satisfaction through effective sales of labor and parts.
- Job Management: Assist with writing, monitoring, and closing job orders in coordination with the Service Department.
- Customer Introductions: Accompany machine sales representatives during deliveries to introduce Product Support programs.
- Business Development: Conduct cold calls to potential new customers for Volvo and non-Volvo service work.
- OEM Promotion: Promote OEM parts, filters, fluids, and hoses to existing and prospective customers.
- Communication Management: Maintain clear communication with customers regarding work status.
- Approval Oversight: Ensure accurate approvals, estimates, and quotes with promised completion dates.
- Schedule Coordination: Review daily work schedules, discussing priorities and parts deliveries with the Service Department.
- Work Order Management: Manage work orders exceeding estimates, ensuring proper communication.
- Reporting: Compile data for reports and special projects as needed.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

Education and Experience:
- Experience: Prior experience with construction machinery and mechanical knowledge.
- Skills: Proficient with computers and customer service.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; related experience may substitute formal education.
