This position is responsible for accurately calculating and quoting the total costs associated with parts and service repairs and maintenance. This includes identifying and understanding contract requirements, determining key variables, and providing recommendations based on technical knowledge with internal and external customers. Advanced in Microsoft Excel-Pivot Tables, knowledge with Tableau.
Additionally, this position is also responsible for ensuring all charges are accurately reflected against contracts. This requires collaboration throughout multiple departments throughout the organization within various phases and scopes of contract(s).

Essential Functions:
• Monitors, evaluates, and reports the ongoing status of contracts operationally and financially
• Identifies problems, analyzes risk, and improves processes to ensure cost-related standards and/or quality is met
• Gathers and analyzes technical information and specifications to determine requirements for contract
• Partners with Product Support Sales and Operations to provide accurate quotes and executable work orders
• Implements and maintains relevant software used to support accurate data analysis and continuously improve quoting process
• Maintains key relationships throughout the organization to ensure open lines of communication and collaboration between internal departments
• Works safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards
• Performs other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong knowledge on Microsoft Excel - Pivot Tables
- Must be able to use Tableau (preferred).

Education and Experience:
• 2- years’ experience working as Quoter, Estimator; proven experience as an estimator or in similar position required
• High School diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred

Physical Requirements:
• This position involves extended periods in a stationary position; additionally, occasional movement inside the office to access office machinery, file cabinets, etc.
• This role frequently communicates with others, must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
• This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines
• Occasionally moves or transports items weighing up to 25 lbs.
Work Environment:
• This job is generally performed in a professional office environment and in a shop environment
• Frequently works at a fast pace with unscheduled interruptions
