Job Summary: The Business Operations Analyst administers processes meant to improve the efficiency of operations by recommending improvements that will enhance profitability, maximize capital efficiency, increase market share, and save time.
The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices daily: 1) Demonstrate alignment with the company's mission and core business values; 2) Collaborate with key internal/external resources; 3) Participate in ongoing self-development.
Essential Functions:
• Develops, evaluates, and influences effective and consistent productivity and teamwork to ensure the delivery of Legendary Customer Service (LCS)
• Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT’s Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission
• Supports the successful management of business operations
• Collecting and organizing information from various sources like internal sources such as accounting systems (i.e. RentalMan, Microsoft Dynamics), Customer Relationship Management tools and 3rd party data such as Rouse, Pitchbook, and other publicly available datasets
• Conducting interviews with employees and managers
• Identifying and solving problems in various fields or specialized areas
• Examine the data to figure out what is important to the problem and which methods are best to analyze it
• Builds detailed financial models required to analyze information and develop solutions to business problems identified by various stakeholders
• Advise managers on findings and the various courses they can take to address the problem
• Write memos and reports for managers to look over the findings and recommendations
• Works safely always and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards
• Performs other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Strong technical aptitude and understanding of construction equipment industry value chain, Major participants (Customers, Suppliers, Competitors), and macro/micro industry drivers
• Strong business acumen and analytical skills
• Interpersonal skills sufficient to engage with vendors, own staff, and corporate executives to exchange information, influence and persuade
• Proficiency in MS Office, with an emphasis in Word, Excel, PPT
• Ability to learn and utilize data visualization tools such as Tableau and/or PowerBI
• Uses logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
• Great attention to detail and solid organizational skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Exceptional organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to work with all levels of personnel within the organization and customer operations
• Ability to understand the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making

Education and Experience:
• High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
• Three or more years of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience preferred

• Up to 15% travel
• Valid driver’s license
Physical Requirements:
• This position involves extended periods in a stationary position; additionally, occasional movement inside the office to access office machinery, file cabinets, etc.
• This role frequently communicates with others, must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
• This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines
• Frequently moves materials or equipment weighing up to 10 lbs.

• This job is performed in a professional office indoor, environmentally controlled environment
• Frequently works at fast pace with unscheduled interruptions
