Description
Scope of Work:
Opens, maintains, and invoices Service Department work orders. Assists in answering customer phone calls, directs to appropriate tech and/or Management. Assist in all phases of the Shop Trend System and Payroll. Assist in purchasing parts, and supplies for Service Department. Assist in Quoting jobs, Performs filing, and record maintenance.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Work with Management on opening, maintaining and closing Service Dept. work orders.
- Assist in answering customer phone calls before directing call to techs or Management.
- Assist in all phases of the Service Dept. Trend Payroll System.
- Ability to purchase parts and supplies for shop and handle themselves in a professional manner.
- File and maintain Service Dept. records.
Secondary Job Responsibilities:
- Promote good welfare among the company and its’ divisions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions:
- Typical hours of work Monday through Friday; 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Weekend hours as necessary.
- Office and shop work area.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have 1 year(s) previous experience.
- G.E.D. or High School Diploma.
Requirements: Skills, Knowledge and Abilities (SKA’s)
- Must have a working knowledge of the above titled position and how it relates to the overall
- business and its’ objectives.
- Must be computer literate, a Windows based environment preferred. (MS Word, Excel, and
- Outlook).
- Must have the ability to effectively operate fax, printer, copier, and telephone system.
