WHAT YOU’LL DO:
As our Regional Precision Agriculture Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that support Pape’s vision for Precision Ag. This role combines operational leadership, financial accountability, training development, and field-level support to ensure regional teams are equipped to deliver exceptional service and drive adoption of advanced technologies. The manager will serve as a key liaison between regional staff, John Deere field teams, and customers while fostering innovation and growth in Precision Ag.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement execution plans to align with Pape’s Precision Ag vision and strategy.
- Design and deliver training programs in collaboration with the VP of Ag Technology.
- Manage departmental financial performance, ensuring profitability and efficiency.
- Support regions in responsible AOR for the following.
- Providing Tier 3 technical support to internal staff.
- Assisting regions in meeting Precision Ag Equipment Solutions (PAES) goals.
- Partnering with regional field teams to execute Precision Ag strategies.
- Act as operational point of contact for John Deere field teams.
- Develop and maintain standardized job pricing models for precision technology services.
- Obtain and maintain CDI certification; lead internal operational and sales training initiatives.
- Collaborate with specialists to execute field trials and leverage Operations Center data to drive sales growth.
- Create regional content aligned with Papé’s marketing strategy.
- Represent Papé in strategic customer meetings, clinics, and events.
- Provide subject matter expertise in specific technologies to enhance internal staff support.

WHAT YOU NEED:
- 5 or more years of Precision Ag experience.
- Strong understanding of John Deere Operations Center and emerging Ag technology products.
- Ability to execute multi-region initiatives, coordinate with field teams, and support corporate Precision Ag vision.
- Strong understanding of regional farming practices.
- Driver’s license with a good driving record.
Compensation: $100,000-$125,000/yr (Depending on Experience) + Bonus Opportunity
