Sonsray is seeking a professional Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their dynamic team at our corporate office located in Torrance, CA.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Approve and set up new customer accounts
- Receive and post payments
- Ensures billings and receivables are correctly processed in a timely manner
- Addresses and corrects any discrepancies in accounts or billings
- Handle escalated collection calls in a professional manner
- Logging of phone calls and following up to ensure receivables are collected on time
- Preparation and tracking of aging reports
- Credit rating procedures
- Maintain and approve the credit limit accounts
- Month-end journal and daily balancing
- Monthly statement mailing
- Provides or facilities accurate reports and analysis on financial data and metrics such as cash forecasting, sales statistic information, and monthly net sales reports
- Performs other functions or duties as directed by management in line with the objectives of the dealership
Qualifications:
- 3+ years in Accounts Receivable within a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter and a strong work ethic, and good customer service skills
- Experience using a dealership management system and ERP system
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
- Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and standard internet functions.
- Experience with a multi-location operation and/or dealership experience a plus
