Job Duties: Entry level Welder at our welding and fabrication shop. This position will weld in the welding and fabrication repair of heavy earthmoving equipment and attachments. The preferred candidate will have the following skills: FCAW .045 - 3/32 diameter wire; SMAW - all positions; 3G 1" plate with backup bar #7018 - 1/8 certification; carbon-arc ability; cutting torch experience; blueprint reading and layout skills; heavy plate fabrication ability; overhead crane rigging; and a willingness to learn product repair procedures. This position rotates first and second shift.
Requirements: Proven welding and fabrication experience; ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings; certification is a plus. Vocational-technical school and/or secondary level trade school training in welding technology.
