The primary function of this position will be to fabricate, weld and assemble dump truck bodies on a steady Monday through Friday daylight shift at the New Stanton facility.
Description:
Installing and fabricating truck beds, frame modification and installation of designated parts to said job which consists of welding, wiring and installation of both hydraulic and airlines and installation of necessary parts to complete bed installation. And, perform other duties as assigned.
The successful candidate must be able to confidently and safely weld, fabricate and assemble dump truck bodies on a variety of truck chassis.
The preferred candidate will have the following skills, or must be willing to take necessary course work and become proficient in the following skills:
- Mechanical Aptitude
- Welding, cutting torch and plasma cutter experience
- Basic electrical, chassis air systems and layout skills
- Fabrication experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and drawings
- Overhead crane rigging and a willingness to learn product repair procedures
- Welding certification is a plus
This position may revert to a rotating shift once the dump truck body positions are adequately staffed.
