Carter Machinery Company, the authorized Caterpillar dealer serving Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and Washington D.C. is hiring a Parts Quality Administrator in Baltimore, Maryland. The Parts Quality Administrator is responsible for providing ownership and oversight for all operational quality related aspects of the Parts Operation within and/or associated with the Parts distribution center and warehouse. This includes providing support to all interdepartmental operations along with outlying stores for any quality related event associated to the parts operation. We’re seeking candidate with in-depth industry product knowledge and experience. Warehousing or manufacturing operational background preferred. Process improvement/management consulting background preferred.
Requirements for the Parts Quality Administrator position include:

- Must have strong leadership and interpersonal skills, including demonstrated ability to motivate, influence and gain commitment at all levels of the organization.
- Able to take corrective action when results are below target, and act with a sense of urgency to achieve desire results.
- Must be detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks at once. Strong organizational, planning and follow-up skills required.
- Must be skilled in process / workflow / gap analysis procedures.
- Able to operate all equipment and systems related to Carter Machinery parts warehouse operations.
- Must have knowledge and understanding of all parts operations related systems.
- Capable of researching process issues and distributing these issues to key personnel.
- Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize work with competing demands and develop action plans.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and presentation skills.
- Excellent PC skills with knowledge of MS Office and the ability to self-develop and adapt to changing technology required.
- Must be able to travel locally as required – must possess a valid drivers’ license.
Physical requirements must be met for the Parts Quality Administrator job, including the ability sit or stand for prolonged periods of time. Able to lift, carry and maneuver items up to 45 pounds in weight. This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Additional duties may be assigned.
