A Day in the Life of a Heavy Equipment Shop Foreman:
Compensation: $41.81 - $55.65/hour DOE 

The Shop Foreman is a hands-on position and will oversee all shop technicians and shop safety performance. The Foreman will perform service maintenance for CASE construction machinery and/or related equipment. Providing quality repairs on Construction Equipment in both shop and field environments:

  • Engines
  • Transmissions
  • Hydraulic Systems
  • Electrical
  • Structural repairs including welding
  • Diagnosing & troubleshooting equipment
  • Must be able to work on their own and require no supervision
  • Must be able to follow established Original Equipment Manufacturing procedures and guidelines
  • Must demonstrate safe and proper application of hand, pneumatic, and electric tools
  • Manage and ensure our customer’s equipment meets or exceeds DOT and OSHA specifications
  • Responsibilities include diagnosis, repair, preventative maintenance, supervising shop mechanics, and enforcing company policies and procedures
  • Comply with all road signs and operate vehicles within their limits and weather environment
  • Follow all Auto and Equipment Safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments
  • Perform miscellaneous-related duties as required and assigned by the manager
