Heavy Haul Driver – Crane Department
Location: North Carolina
Type: Full-time, permanent (company driver – not an owner-operator position)
Guy M Turner Inc – North Carolina’s #1, largest, and most respected crane company – is hiring experienced heavy haul drivers to support our crane division. This position involves transporting rough terrain (RT) cranes using specialized lowboy trailers.
Requirements:
- Prior experience operating lowboy trailers for oversized and heavy equipment hauls
- Experience hauling on 4-axle lowboy trailers (8 axles total) with loads up to 165,000 lbs
- CDL Class A license required
- Must live within 1 hour of Winston-Salem, Greensboro, or Burlington, NC
- Mostly day trips with occasional overnight stays
- Background check, MVR, and drug screening required
