A Day in the Life of a Heavy Equipment Shop Foreman:
Compensation: $41.81 - $55.65/hour DOE
The Shop Foreman is a hands-on position and will oversee all shop technicians and shop safety performance. The Foreman will perform service maintenance for CASE construction machinery and/or related equipment. Providing quality repairs on Construction Equipment in both shop and field environments:
Structural repairs including welding
Diagnosing & troubleshooting equipment
Must be able to work on their own and require no supervision
Must be able to follow established Original Equipment Manufacturing procedures and guidelines
Must demonstrate safe and proper application of hand, pneumatic, and electric tools
Manage and ensure our customer’s equipment meets or exceeds DOT and OSHA specifications
Responsibilities include diagnosis, repair, preventative maintenance, supervising shop mechanics, and enforcing company policies and procedures
Comply with all road signs and operate vehicles within their limits and weather environment
Follow all Auto and Equipment Safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments
Perform miscellaneous-related duties as required and assigned by the manager
